EMOTIONAL HONESTY.
True emotions are always honest. That is why all the artists come up with their best when they are emotionally immersed in something.
Vincent Van Gogh the most influential artist of 20th-century was always emotionally honest with himself. He never used to paint for the world but he painted for himself. He just allowed all the emotions within him to flow in the form of paintings. He produced more than 2,100 artworks and most of his renowned work was done by him in his last two years.
Medium may be anything like writing, dancing, painting & singing but we should make sure that we let out our emotions somehow or the other because they actually explicit our true character.
