Explained to my best friend that James Cameron hadn’t copied ATLA bc he had the idea before, and even if he didn’t the word Avatar isn’t referring to the show. I went looking for dates to give more info & found out he came up with the idea in the 1970s + they had to change their name bc he’d already owned the rights to the title Avatar. I love being right 😌
