Philodendron: With its diverse varieties like the heartleaf philodendron or the vining philodendron, this plant family offers choices for every space. These vines do well in moderate to low light and are forgiving if you occasionally forget to water them.
Hoya (Hoya carnosa): Hoya, or the Wax Plant, charms with its unique waxy foliage and fragrant star-shaped flowers. Thriving in bright, indirect light, it's an excellent addition to any sunny spot in your home.
Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum): Known for its arching foliage adorned with baby spider plants, this resilient vine is an air-purifying champion. It tolerates various light conditions and is an ideal choice for hanging baskets.
String of Pearls (Senecio rowleyanus): A conversation starter, this succulent vine features spherical, bead-like leaves cascading gracefully over containers. It prefers bright light and infrequent watering, making it a unique addition to any sunny window.
English Ivy (Hedera helix): While commonly seen outdoors, English Ivy adapts well to indoor conditions. It can be trained to climb or trail, adding a classic touch to your home while purifying the air.
Climbing Roses (Rosa spp.): For those with outdoor spaces or ample sunlight indoors, climbing roses offer exquisite blooms and can be trained to climb trellises or along walls.
Caring for indoor vines and climbers involves understanding their light and water needs, providing adequate support for climbing varieties, and occasionally pruning to maintain shape and encourage growth. My Hoya obovata is blooming! 🌸 It is vining 🌱 everywhere in the sunroom. It is going up the wall, through a begonia and through my Ficus elastica...crazy! I love 💚 hoyas! If you swipe through the pictures, you will see the buds, leaves, and a tiny little spur that is starting to bud up. The spur is the small part of the plant that sends out the blooms and after blooming do not cut it off. Flowers 🌸 will come from it again. This one is in my sunroom and so gets plenty of light, but I also have some hoyas in my south window in the house blooming. Do you have any hoyas? . . #flowersofInstagram #hoyaflowers #viningplants #hoyasofinstagram #houseplantsrock #urbanjungle #house_plant_community #houseplantseverywhere #houseplantguru #greenyourfeed #get_planted #plantsmakepeoplehappy #bhghome #betterhomesandgardens #plantaddict #plantnerd #planthoarder #flauntyourleaves #houseplantplantclub https://www.instagram.com/p/B_UyRhkAHP1/?igshid=1nfgin45v3wxi
