So... right before #vinniepaultribute @aftershockconcert and for 1st time in life I shaved my head!? It was my way to pay tribute to @philiphanselmo & ALL of @panteraofficial before channeling his strength & power. I wanted tribute to be something physical and this felt like best way to do that in the moment. @melissammangin bought clippers before show & literally like 30 min before set time we did this outside our @afflictionclothing RV using long extension cord in front of all my close friends. Reminded me of time when Phil shaved his head for 1st time before #pantera arena show as seen in Vulgar Video. I kept it secret till 2nd song in VP Tribute and on stage I removed bandana and shirt to become the part before belting out breathless version of A NEW LEVEL💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 - btw this started out as a dare/joke by @stephaniedcabral earlier this week and I thought so much about it I ended up believing this had to be done.
