A Big One

We are still here and still cubing. Our paper copies are a couple updates behind because I’m lazy, but I’m always tuning and looking for feedback. This post represents one of the most significant updates in a long time.

Firstly, I’m expanding the cube from 305 cards to 320. Drafts have been extremely consistent. 360 is certainly too many for this cube.

The main reason for the expansion is to add Eldrazi representation. When Eldrazi Mimic was spoiled I immediately said, ”I want to play 4 of this in Vintage. “ Little did I know, Lodestone Golem got the axe and Shops would need to adapt a bit.

I’m expanding a couple other archetypes so things don’t turn drastically Shops heavy. The main focus is tightening up some control elements. Dark Petition was supposed to be in the last update, but I never got around to making a cut.

Elspeth, Knight-Errant and Moat are on my short list right now. I don’t want to expand past 320 cards, so these would need cuts. They’ve both been in and out before.
