Who was this A.N. Pierson? The Rose King of America! 🌹 As the founder of the largest commercial rose grower in the country from the late 1800s all the way through the 1990s, A.N.’s greenhouse enterprise was all a bustle, especially at this time of year. ♥️ His story is notably unique in that A.N. was a Swedish immigrant and mostly employed other fellow Swedish immigrants at the nursery so that they too could succeed in the land of opportunity. 🌹 And succeed they all did.
