They couldn’t do this? Then, why else had she come to see him? Kara should be thankful for him-- Her gave her shelter in Jericho, where she was protected and surrounded by her own. She’d left, of course-- But, now? The domestic android found her way back to him. If not this, then what could she possibly desire?

“Kara,..” Markus stood there, not even truly bothered by her failing attempts to push him away. Instead, as she found herself trapped back against the wall, the deviant leader only towered over her, his intense eyes staring down into her own.

“Don’t tell me you’re too foolish to realize what would happen when you came back. I can read the signs... You want me. And you’re just too afraid to admit that.”
