Wraparound cover for V for Vendetta Vol I of X, dated September 1988. Cover by David Lloyd. The issue reprints the first four parts of the V story that were originally published in Warrior magazine from Quality Communications in 1982:
Chapter One: The Villain
Chapter Two: The Voice
Chapter Three: Victims
Chapter Four: Vaudeville
The Warrior stories were printed in black and white but this series printed V in colour for the first time. New material was printed in Vol. VIII to X to finish off the story. Personally I don't think the ending lived up to the promise of the earlier issues but at least there was no giant squid.
A Violet Carson Rose at a crime scene. What can it all mean?
