The Warrior stories were printed in black and white but this series printed V in colour for the first time. New material was printed in Vol. VIII to X to finish off the story. Personally I don't think the ending lived up to the promise of the earlier issues but at least there was no giant squid.

The issue reprints the final three parts of Volume One of the V story that were originally published in Warrior magazine from Quality Communications in 1982 (and we get an explanation for the significance of the two Violet Carson Roses):

Great stuff but, while it was still worth reading, this is where the V story peaked in my opinion.

You see the body in the bottom centre, V exiting the room at top right and a few other things out of place but at first glance I think it's a bit dull. It's a strange choice given other images from inside that they could have used. The issue reprints the second four parts of the V story that were originally published in Warrior magazine from Quality Communications in 1982:
