(Wanted to do more with this but alas, art fight is upon me, and i just wanted to get this out as close to pride month as possible. I procrastinated on it too long and the end of june snuck up on me lol)

Did a Violet doodle and when i was making it I thought to myself “what if she was all beat up and dramatic” and so the second picture happened. I honestly have no clue how to draw blood/scratches but it was fun to experiment with it!

This is Violet’s - a very simple violets and gargoyles aesthetic that was actually super hard and i’m still not sure i’m satisfied with it but *shrug* whatever

Day 11 is Violet!! I had so much fun drawing this and I definitely wanna try to color it at some point.

Fun Facts (some not found on the DA page!): 

-Birds and bats are cool cuz they can fly too

-Her belt didn’t originally have those pockets, and was just a silver band really. But like, she tends to get hurt a lot because she’s a hand-to-hand fighter so she needs some pockets to hold bandages and shit since tearing her shirt is kind of stupid....the new belt was born

-She also has wider pant legs now because how the hell does she put on pants with those claws holy heck. there are actually slits in the sides that you can kinda see, and they probably have zippers that go farther up the leg to make it easier to put on some PANTS.

-when she discovered ponytails she was elated. Finally, a way to keep her hair out of her face! Later she actually cuts it a bit because hair getting in your face gets annoying after a while

-one day i will draw the back of her shirt for how the heck she gets that on. But for other looser t-shirts and whatever she literally just cuts massive holes in the back, folds up her wings and slowly works them through the wing-holes, and prays her horns don’t ruin another great t-shirt

-eventually gets a PhD in fucking microbiology and a master’s in biotechnology and surprises everyone when she applies for an actual job at an actual lab, goes to the interview, and still gets the job

-Liz makes her be the percussion/bass for a cappella performances. Carmen and Brianna are also eventually roped into this

-so her wings are actually too big to easily maneuver through trees. buildings are fine, there’s lots of room between them, but she grew up in the highlands of Scotland, in an area with more open plains and shrubs and not a lot of trees, so her clan was adapted to have larger bodies and huge wings to accommodate them

-she likes dogs and often dogsits for carmen and brianna when they get married and adopt a dog

-she and liz stick together for a full century before violet retires to working in the lab. she and liz still live together though, and she’ll occasionally back liz up and help train new titans. she lives for over two centuries
