Asks for Liliana and Violet!
Liliana: Hecata, Ravnos, Lasombra, Tzimisce and Church of Set.
Violet: Tzimisce, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, and Cult of Shalim.
Liliana Bacarra / Lasombra (Clan Initiate: Setite) / 7th Generation / Current Locale: Vegas, NV, USA
(Liliana has many tattoos, but this was what I could create at short notice. Typically I headcanon her looking like this.)
Hecata - Does your OC have a family? Be it through blood or chosen. Tell us about them.
Liliana is the childe of Seneschal Juliette Bacarra of France, and as a result, is a member of the Bacarra dynasty. She's the youngest living childer of Juliette, with her two older sisters, Sascha Bacarra and Ming-Yi Bacarra, after being stolen from her previous master, a disgraced Setite who had been keeping Set's Chosen, Liliana, to himself and away from the greater Clan. She originally was quite an issue to her family with being Embraced into the Lasombra but once she was reunited with her faith she became a model childe. The Bacarra Clan is fairly big so I'll keep it to that cause this ask is gonna be a long one :'3
However, info on them: Juliette Bacarra is the Seneschal to Prince Villon of Paris, whom she despises but he adores her, so it's mostly equal balance lol. She has Elder Status 4 and Elder Influence 7 in Politics (Elders: The Elysium Wars), so she's very well equipped for her position, especially as she's got several very competent childer who spread her influence further. Privately she's married to Count Roy Bacarra, a master Abyss Mysticist whom she adores and whom adores her in return. She has three childer, while her husband has two.
Ravnos - Is your OC a daredevil or are they more cautious? What's the most chaotic thing that they've done?
Liliana is not a cautious woman. What Setites do, they do to excess and fulfilment, and Liliana was raised within the Ministry from childhood, so very much believes in that creed. It's definitely a good thing for her, specifically because she tends to be the more open arm of leadership within the Temple, and that allows other Setites to focus on more subtle influence, though that's not to say that her influence isn't important as well since she's very good at forcing the Camarilla to her will. She rules openly and will do what she sees as necessary to make sure the Camarilla pays attention to her sect's wishes and decisions.
Lasombra - What's the most ruthless thing your OC has done? Why?
Most likely, before she was reunited with her faith, when after her Embrace she was only Lasombra, she did a lot of serious harm to Paris, killing many innocents and burning buildings down in various areas because she was so erratic and lost without the Temple and her faith to guide her. Without going into detail, she finds the blood of innocents particularly tasty, and so most likely wiped one or two abbeys in France off the map, deaths that were attributed to bandits but were exclusively the fault of the world's most unstable Lasombra.
Tzimisce - What's your OC's most prized possession? How long have they had it? Why is it important?
Liliana's most prized possession is most likely a piece of jewellery, a gold necklace bearing a Set animal shaped out of red semiprecious stone on it, gifted to her by her mentor, Satiah Shepset-ipet of the House of the Eclipse, the night she was re-Embraced to be a Setite. It was a celebration of being returned to the arms of her God, of taking up his mantle and her destiny, and so it means a great deal to her. She adores it, and makes sure it's kept in perfect condition for the most sacred ceremonies.
Church of Set - Is your OC able to be their true selves? If not, why? Is there anyone they can be real in front of?
Liliana is her true self as a Setite: she exudes raw confidence and lust, as she's on Path of Pleasure and it helps her to achieve the goal she's after, as no one forgets the gaze of the Serpent and his Priestess. But the person she can be truly vulnerable in front of is her sire's childe and lover, Ming-Yi. They were together in the brothel Liliana grew up in, where Lili used to torment her as she held power over her, but now Lili serves as her devoted submissive and servant, the only one she answers to aside from Set himself.
Violet Bacarra / Lasombra / 5th Generation / Current locale: London, UK
Tzimisce - What's your OC's most prized possession? How long have they had it? Why is it important?
Violet's most prized possession is her most powerful car, with the shell of a Nissan on the outside but internally the vehicle is structured and built to have the most powerful engine possible on a rig of its size. She's always prized her cars but she appreciates the 21st century particularly because of the availability of powerful car parts and innovation of automotive engineering, and uses that to keep her vehicles in top condition. She's had her Nissan for about five years, since automotive engineering has jumped in leaps and bounds in the past thirty years and so she's upgraded when she's seen necessary to do so since she has money to do so working for London's Mistress of Harpies.
Banu Haqim - What's the worst punishment your OC has received? Have they given any punishments out? How was it handled?
A trans woman, Violet was raised as a soldier and as the heir to the Bacarra-Orléans dukedom, and so received quite heavy physical punishment in the form of training as a child in preparation for being a noble before she came out to her family. She's never really been punished by Ankou or the Elder vampires who taught her because to be a Bacarra in the first place is to be perfection, and so she never failed enough to be worth punishing after her Embrace.
As for giving out punishments, it mostly consists of shepherding her own childe, Jacqueline Bacarra, away from danger by the scruff of her neck as well as scruffing the Mistress of Harpies' youngest childe, Emily Harcourt, since Emily is a party girl and can get herself into trouble if Vi doesn't pay attention. In 2026, Violet works for Lady Harcourt (said Mistress of Harpies) as a guardian to her twin childer, Emily Charlotte and Emma Diane Harcourt, and so though she doesn't punish them heavily, she does have to drag Emily away from trouble and knock some sense into her occasionally.
Ventrue - Does your OC have any influence or sway anywhere? Are they respected?
Violet has a small amount of streetwise influence, however only retains enough influence in that + underworld to keep herself invisible and out of the eyes of anyone but those who need a job done. She's unusual as a Lasombra only in that she doesn't care for power, only the freedom to do as she sees fit, and perhaps in these nights, that's power enough.
Cult of Shalim - What's the worst thing your OC has suffered so far?
The worst thing Violet has suffered so far is probably oddly enough her cancer. After she was fleshcrafted to transition perfectly as a Revenant, something was messed up in her DNA, and she got aggressive cancer. Their family friend, Andronikova, a Tzimisce dating back to the nights of Arpad, wasn't enough to keep it at bay, and Violet inevitably lost her battle and was Embraced, even as the Tzimisce fleshcrafted away every mass of tumor for as long as she could before it killed Violet. Sometimes she still feels the ache of old pains on the bad nights, but her cancer is something she wouldn't wish on anyone.
(Don't worry, after her Embrace they were able to replace everything with healthy tissue thanks to Andi, but by god was the process painful and difficult.)
Gangrel, caitiff, nephilim for violet please :]
Violet Bacarra / Lasombra / 5th Generation / Current locale: London, UK
Gangrel - What is your OC's Beast like? Do they get along.. more or less?
Violet's Beast is that of a jaguar, specifically a black panther
It is adept at swimming and is largely a solitary, opportunistic, stalk-and-ambush apex predator [Wikipedia]
I'd definitely say that she embodies her Beast quite heavily, as her primary method of employment is as a mercenary / sell sword. As for whether or not they get along, I think they do for the most part, as Violet doesn't take unnecessary risks and spends her time wisely. She doesn't involve herself in conflicts outside of what's needed to stay alive, and her Beast isn't inclined to be interested in those outside of the hunt either. Both stay on the outskirts, opportunistically taking jobs if and when they suit them, and, for the most part, remain within the shadows.
Caitiff - Would you say your OC is quite individualistic or do they conform to their Clan stereotype?
As a Lasombra of deep generation, she tends to conform to the stereotype of remaining in the shadows and being mysterious, but others puzzle over her because she doesn't seem to care for, or need power like most Lasombra do. She doesn't use her family name (A well-known and powerful noble family name, no less) because she sees no need to, instead going by Dr. Violet Deltar and living in a small apartment in Whitechapel in order to go under the radar. Her sire sees this as an advantage since he and his childe are searching for a cure to their curse and need the privacy.
Nephilim - What pleasures does your OC get out of their (un)life?
Drag racing, drinking blood wine, avoiding getting caught by the cops on the road, driving and working on her cars. She's very much a free spirit in the driver's seat, and has made a name for herself in the drag circuits as her alter ego, "Chat Noir." Her personal ghoul, Thomas, maintains her vehicles while she's working.
my cat is so cute and so round and she will never know what a shareholder is. and i think that’s wonderful
