Violet’s Expecting: The Wild Kratts Characters’ Reactions!

I also included my OCs Paige Smith-King and Amy Smith-Gourmand in this! Paige has the short, curly blonde hair and Amy has the short brown hair. Paige is Violet’s cousin/Amy’s daughter/married to Koki’s cousin Todd (another OC of mine!), and Amy is Violet’s aunt/Paige’s mother/eventually Gourmand’s wife (the Picrew used to make them has been deleted).

Below you can find some explanations for a few of the sections, and a little fanfic excerpt with Zach, Violet and the bros!

Quite Excited/Not Excited At All: While Violet is excited for their baby, she is also terrified of pregnancy, hates being pregnant, and is scared of losing the baby, so she isn’t excited about the pregnancy/risks, but she is excited about the baby.

Worried For The Parents/Worried For Their Child: Zach and Violet are worried for their child because of the pregnancy risks/potential of losing the baby, and Amy and Chris (he was a big support to Violet when she lost Alexandria) are worried of what will happen to Zach and Violet if they do suffer such a loss.

Punches Stomach To See If It’s Real: A Zachbot misinterprets what Zach says one day and tried to punch Violet in the stomach. It is unsuccessful, but Zach is livid, The Zachbot that tries to punch Violet in the stomach is ripped to shreds by the Kratts the next time Zach confronts them…

Martin and Chris: “Zach? What are you doing?”

Zach: *nonchalantly picking at his nails* “Oh nothing, just waiting for you two, you activated those big bear powers I thought you might as well put them to good use…*sarcastically* Oh look, my Zachbot is trying to steal the bear cub, whatever shall you do?”

Chris: “Let’s get it bro! You get Smokie, and I’ll get the Zachbot!”

*One action packed fighting sequence later…*

Martin: “Maybe that will teach you not to mess with baby animals, Zach!”

Zach: “Maybe that will teach the Zachbots not to mess with my pregnant wife.”

Martin and Chris: “😃😃😃…Violet’s pregnant???”

Violet: *poking her head out from behind Zach* “It was supposed to be a secret, but yes…”

Meeting Violet:

Selene met Violet 10 years later from when she 13, at one.of her concerts. She never really like, talked with Violet much until the day of her wedding. Her 2nd wedding, that is.

Selene stood near the dessert table, eyeing the red velvet cupcakes, when a flurry of white lace caught her eye. She turned around to be greeted by a woman with blonde hair.

Selene: Hi... sorry, you're the bride, right?

The bride: Yeahh. This dress kind of gives it away, huh?

Selene: I’m Selene. I came with Paige—your cousin, I think? She said you needed someone to keep the photo booth line in check or something like that.

The bride: That sounds like her alright. I’m Violet.

She extended a hand, which Selene took.

Selene: Well, Violet, you look absolutely beautiful.

Violet: *blushing* .....thanks.....

-- 30 minutes b4 doing the vows--

Selene: *Selene, hanging out with Violet since she can't find Paige* Sooo, Violet....how're you feeling? Excited, jumpy, impatient?

Violet: Honestly, I'm pretty nervous here right now.

Selene: Well, if it helps my mom once told me something really valuable. Violet, you don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be.....yourself. Zach's waiting just to see you—not some performance. Infact, you should go and talk to him like, right now. Go on. He'll make you feel better.”

Selene took Violet to Zach and left the soon-to-be-married couple to talk. She, in the meantime, went to wait with the other guests for the vows.

After the wedding, Selene wished Zach and Violet luck for their marriage. Her gift for their wed was this:

For the next few months, Selene continued to visit Violet and Zach, checking up on them every now and then.

On the saddening topic of their Alexandria, she'd tried to make Violet feel better, even sucked at making people feel better (I'm sorry, but it's true 😭)

When they had their 1st child, Varina, some things changed.

Nori: tried to bring home a kitten after seeing a bin that said free kittens

Daphne: made a historically accurate pirate costume for Halloween

Phineas: squeezes into the smallest places even if he can’t fit

Ferb: constantly questions his life choices

Henry: used to eat play dough as a kid

Sunny: used to scroll through Pinterest for hours instead of doing her schoolwork

Trin: once got a bloody nose after playing dead man on the trampoline

Selene: Hissed after going out into the sun one time

Harry: has an eyeliner subscription

Zach after leaving an open bag of peanuts out as he was walking on the beach and the seagulls got into it: *screaming* “My peanuts!” (It did not sound like the word peanuts)

Violet: loves going to the library with her kids

Varina: picked flowers for Violet on a long walk

Vera: “It’s a big Minnie pen!” (It was a giant Minnie Mouse pen lol)

Victor and Vallen: don’t fully watch a video or listen to a song all the way through. They do it halfway, restart it and do that over and over until others get annoyed

Victoria: goes up and talks to random strangers about her and her family
