What do you think is the best invention from the last hundred years? Gosh, there are so many fabulous things that have been invented between 1914 and today. I don't want to go with the obvious & say "the computer", or "the internet" ... so let's go back further. 1933 - Frequency modulation (FM radio) invented by Edwin Howard Armstrong. Can you imagine a world without radio? Especially before mp3s & all that jazz? 03. If you could be one person for the rest of your life, who would you be? I was going to name a celebrity, but then I thought "no.". I don't know what their life is like at all. Just the bit that is out in the open. So maybe I'd end up being somewhere I wouldn't want to be at all. I'm just going to be me, if you don't mind. 04. What do you think is your best feature? My ... eyebrows? 05. What’s your favourite TV show at the moment? "Land Girls". Even though it's been off the air for years. I've only discovered it semi-recently & I adore that show. 06. The best thing that’s happened to you in the last week? Can't think of anything tbh. 07. Cats or dogs or neither? ...both? I'm allergic to cats, and dogs smell terribly when they get wet (some even do without getting wet)... but I love them all the same. 08. Would you rather be rich and have an ongoing illness or poor and have all your health? That'd depend on the illness. I think I'd be miserable if I was too poor. I need to be able to pay for stuff like the internet & nice food or I wouldn't be happy. 09. Which historical figure do you detest? Hitler. (That was a no-brainer?) 10. The most overrated book? Okay, so Amy was flying her plane, like a boss, and you know how sexist the 30s were ... I mean, come on. A lady pilot? Hah. "If God had wanted women to fly, he would have given 'em wings." So she ran out of fuel and that stupid crew of that stupid ship that was supposed to help went "♫Ne ner ne ner ne ner. We cahan't heear youu.♪" and her plane crashed into the water. Noonan got eaten by a shark, but our Amy was washed ashore and survived! She lost her memory though. And when she finally regained it... no, wait. That's part of the plot of Song of Singapore. ... oops. O:o) 07. Which literary genre is your favourite? Probably Auto Biographies. 08. Do you watch Last Tango in Halifax, and, if so, what do you think of it, and, if not, please would you do it for me? Do I watch it? HAH! Do I watch... .. . I mean, come on. Yet. With you. But, you know. I'd be cool with that.) 10. What music do you recommend I listen to? Well, I listen to swing, big band, close harmony, show tunes, and stuff like that most of the time.
