Dark Necromatador, pls show me the secret to drawing Kenku/Tengu. I have a new Tengu Rogue that I can't draw to save my life.
The secret is: I have no idea. I just kinda tried stylizing ravens and crows and stuff and eventually figured out a style I liked. I looked at a ton of photos of corvids and tried to draw them in a more cartoon-y way. Compare my drawings of Aeron from when I first drew him along as I figured out what I was doing.
Drawing him from the front still messes with me unless I look at references.

Yes, but imho the .mobi files from Kindle look aesthetically better. So it’s a toss up if I want that extra 40c or I want people to think I’m a Totally Serious Professional xD
I picked up UMS and FAB at a time when I was starting to question a lot about myself. Your books gave me comfort when I was struggling to find it, and SFI hit the closest to home, as I am also in my late 20s and spent a lot of 2016 coming to terms with being sapphic. So many discovery stories are through the eyes of teenagers, so it was nice to finally see some I could relate to as an adult. So I wanted to say thank you so much for your books. Your writing is a real gift.
