The Takeover || violetsarecorpseblue & droliverthredsonmd
In his attempts to push passed the constant tragedy of his life, to put his dark past behind him, Oliver moved to California and rented out the Murder House, unbeknownst to its history. Like so many people that came before him, the house had managed to rend and tear his life apart. Something much darker, foreboding, and twisted was slithering within its walls, more so than even he could describe. During the last few years of the doctor's life, that same malevolent darkness began to consume him too, calling to the darker side of his personality like the unearthly and surreal voice of a siren, soothing yet disturbing as it carried over the air to lead him to his own demise. Unfortunately that's exactly what happened.
Soon he was unable to control his own horrendous desires to sate what was missing from his life and once the house had cut the chains, setting his alter personality loose, the ghostly inhabitants he never knew existed swept in to claim his life... They hung him upside down in the basement, slitting his throat to drain his body of blood as he'd done so many times with his own victims...
But that was years ago and now the doctor lay waiting in the house's darkened depths, a soul with nothing left to lose until the deafening silence was suddenly broken. From the balcony, he witnessed the entrance of a family. More importantly a girl. She was young and susceptible which meant she could be easily manipulated... And so he followed her through the house, watching and waiting for his moment when she was alone and finally he whispered the name he'd heard her parent's call.
"Violet..."

4. Amputation:
Jude, while trying to help Violet escape from the Asylum had tripped. As she landed her arms set off a bear trap, the metal teeth tearing into her arm. All she wanted to do was scream, but instead she whimpered, grabbing tightly onto Violet’s hand as she passed. The ex-nun looked to her, begging for help with tear glazed eyes, her entire face red as she held in her screams and cries.

Making Amends
It was months past Christmas, and the Harmon’s happy little tree was long gone. Chad was bored—as usual—no one interesting had moved in yet. It might have been years for all Chad could tell. It was difficult to measure time in hell. All he knew was he was running out of his wine stash, and someone with a viable credit card had to come through the house soon so he could lift it and their cell phone to order more. Thank god for BevMo.
“And how’s the Princess of the Manor?” He asked Violet when he popped into the kitchen. Chad leaned against the island and let out a sigh. “Look, I wanted to tell you that I’m sorry you got hurt. But you needed to know the truth.”

"I'm going to be quite honest with you here, alright. I'm not being mean, just blunt." Lana explained. "You're wrong."
