50 With SamxGabriel please :)
Every direction Sam looked in he could see demons, their black eyes glaring back at him. The demon knife was with Dean who was off God knows where, and Sam had long since lost his powers. There was no way he could fight his way out of it. No way he could escape the enclosing circle of demons. So Sam did what he could, punching the demon closest to him.
Within a second, all of the demons - too many to count - were all on top of Sam. There was only so much he could do to fight them off. Sure, he was strong but against so many demons with no way to kill them there was no hope. He felt a powerful grip around his throat and he knew this was it - this was how he was going to die. Black spots began to dance around the edge of his vision and Sam could feel him last breath escaping his body.
Before it could, however, an electric blue light filled the room. All of a sudden the hands that were all over him were gone, fallen to the floor. Sam desperately tried to push himself up to see what had happened.
“Are you out of your damn mind!"
Gabriel, the archangel who Sam was sure hated him, was stood in front of him. His eyes were bright blue, clearly filled with his grace, but Sam could see the pure anger in his expression. Sam slowly began to push himself away from him.
"You could have died, you freaking idiot!” Gabriel yelled at him. “Who the fuck thinks it’s a good idea to take on twenty demons with nothing but their fucking hands? No one, Sam, no one! And don’t give me that shit that you had no other option, because you know what you do, you call Cas! Or- or me! Just don’t stand there and let yourself get killed like a fucking idiot!”
“Jeez, I was just trying to-”
“Trying to die. Literally the only way you could finish that sentence,” Gabriel snapped. “They almost killed you, Sam do you not realise that.”
“It wouldn’t be the first time,” Sam muttered bitterly. He wiped a hand over his face, trying to hide his exhaustion.
“Yeah, well, I’m not going to let that happen, Kiddo, not now not ever,” Gabriel smiled. It was weird seeing him with a kind smile instead of the smug smirk he usually has after his pranks. He offered out a hand to Sam to help him up off of the floor. “C'mon, let’s go find your idiot brother.”
