Please excuse an internet stranger swinging by to tell you that your Joplittle fics are my absolute favourites, I've read so many of them multiple times over, and I absolutely can't wait for the Beggar's Knowledge sequel! You really capture that uniquely 19th-Century version of longing, where it's careful and hard-won intimacy negociated around so much claustrophobic repression, etc., and I love the dynamics you play around with, both the darker and the softer. Thank you so much for writing for this very, very small fandom!! :)

Oh my gosh thank you so, so much 🖤 I was out of province for work so I didn't see this until now, and this absolutely just made my week. It's beyond wonderful to hear that my fics are worth multiple rereads, and that the atmosphere has come across! I really hope to get more joplittle fics out soon--hopefully after this week I can start working on them once more! Thank you so much again!

Song of the Day: Paula Abdul- Rush Rush

Before she was everyone's favorite hot mess reality TV judge, Paula was a pop princess. She generated several hits, married Emilio, and danced with a cartoon cat. This song was the pajama jam of 1991! The Grease imitation video was pretty awesome even though it starred Ted Theodore Logan. How come we don't have more music with violin solos?
