🤡 for Seb
🤡 for a crack theory
Hmm, I don’t know if I should call this crack theory or headcanon, but I imagine that Sebastian is partial to the musical stylings of composers like J. S. Bach and Felix Mendelssohn.
I recall that he has our earl practice very difficult pieces, like J. S. Bach’s “Chaconne” (ch16)... and Mendelssohn helped to renew the public’s interest in the works of J. S. Bach. So, I imagine Sebastian is appreciative of such highly technical compositions and the mere humans that have created them.
Ermuntre Dich, harmonized by J.S. Bach himself. A truly beautiful chorale!!
The New York Philharmonic collates cellists together to perform Bach’s 3rd Cello Suite in C Major. Music continues, lockdown or none.
Day 1- Bach/Orchestral
Time practiced: 1.5 hours.
Bach:
I really tried to focus on phrasing in the Bach Allemende, as well as intonation. I recently performed this piece and it fell flat on stage
More of this coming soon, I’ll be posting a full recording of this by the 29th.
I really need to work on my intonation, I’ve been playing out of tune recently
Orchestral:
My phone died before I got a video of these :((
I need to work on intonation, I just started a new set of excerpts: Brahms 2, Mozart 41, Beethoven 9, and Don Juan
Piano practice.
