So the rumor is that Armie left Caymans abruptly with an emotional goodbye with kids and ex wife at the airport. Why did his horrible aunt post that? Does it mean he is being charged? I’m trying to prepare myself for the worst while continuing to hope for the best. What is next if he is charged, does anyone know?

I wrote this reply last night before I was able to read and fully digest the original source material in an article published by Vanity Fair, written by the notorious Julie Miller. After reading it, several times, my viewpoint still stands, because rumors from nameless sources are not reliable as facts, and there is still no official statement from anyone representing Armie Hammer with the authority to speak on his behalf on the matter.

Let’s start at the beginning:

It’s a rumor.

From a source that has an obvious bias against Armie.

Who used the word “abruptly” and “emotional” to get the desired reaction from people.

They provided no photos, only speculation about the circumstances, if they even happened, and in that way.

Michael or Misty could have taken him to the airport, with the kids, to say goodbye. He could also have taken an Uber or taxi and this could all be a complete fairy tale. That seems like a more logical scenario, under the circumstances.

But logic and reason, where’s the fun in THAT? It’s much more dramatic the way it was reported by these pit vipers, complete with overdramatic music and exaggerated narration.

From what I can tell, the tip came from someone who sent it to @thezenblonde who posted it in their IG stories, and tagged Aunt Casey, who then posted it in her stories, and then some other haters posted it, in a reverberating echo chamber of Instagram f***ery.

It’s clearly meant to push a specific narrative, to get a reaction out of his fans, to cause ugly speculation and panic based on a rumor. That’s why his horrible aunt posted it. Please don’t buy anything she is selling. She has an axe to grind, and wants nothing more than to destroy their entire family.

As it stands right now, it really doesn’t mean anything, not to of any of us, anyway, because we have no verifiable details.

Let’s wait for more information from credible sources before drawing any conclusions, rather than relying on these completely biased sources to inform us about someone that they clearly hate.

What brought this on: Three stupid, bitchy, "corrective" reviews of a story. I usually write Sheik as female so I made a small note stating this, because some people prefer to view this character as a male or even as a separate character. I wrote this note so those people would know and wouldn't start reading the story to get all disappointed and whatnot. It was merely to be considerate. Anyway someone sends me three messages saying "why would you even need to put that it's so stupid sheik is a woman people who think otherwise are stupid it's so gross blahblahblahblah don't write that from now on"

I'm not of the "Zelda grows a dick when she transforms into Sheik" camp (I view it as a Mulan/Ping situation or something, or maybe whatever that gnoggin video says) , and yet the fem-Sheik sex/gender police get me all kinds of pissy, along the lines of staunch shippers who draw one character brutally slaughtering and/or raping another character because it gets in the way of their ship......( did I just type that) 

Because 1) in a world full of literal fairies, mask-possessed children, people made of rocks who also eat rocks, ocarinas that enable dimensional travel, golden glowy triangles that literally give the bearers the powers of the gods, giant naked ivy ladies, possessed crashing moons, magic meters, magic spells, talking monkeys and frogs, glowy swords, sassy ghosts, songs that change the weather and the time of day and probably the goddamned color of Link's hair if he learned the right song, windmill time paradoxes, evil chickens, that stupid ice cavern puzzle, ENTIRE LEVELS THAT TAKE PLACE IN A FISH'S BODY, big hands that drop down and still haunt nightmares to this day and their bitchass cousins the invisible floor-dwelling big hands, a huge hanging disembodied decapitated giant with severed hands and a giant eyeball for a head who is FUCKING NAMED BONGO BONGO due to his obvious love of Donkey Kong, and a horse that Apparates from wherever you left her when you play a certain song, it is somehow so horrifically offensive, so terribly unbelievable, that a wanted-for-said-glowy-triangle Princess could change her race, build, and possibly even biological sex to hide from the maniacal warlord with some freaky kind of Eye of Sauron shit going on.... 

 And 

 2) when this this whole "SHEIK MUST BE A WOMAN" thing is marched out in the name of "canon accuracy," I don't see anyone bitching over fetishized fanarts of Sheik with HH-cups and an ass that deserves its own planetary orbit. Because if we are going to "canon accuracy," even HW!Sheik has a fairly androgynous look (not that HW is canon) and OoT!Sheik definitely has one. So I mean, if you're going to get to righteously pissed about "inaccurate canon," you should probably start whacking it to the official art. Might I suggest the original OoT version since that's actually canonical. I personally find those rippling man-pecs to be utterly delicious. I could care less if someone finds a character hot in a different context than myself and gender bending can be fun and yadda yadda yadda yadda. There is nothing wrong with viewing it one way or the other but it's shitty to be a dick over it, to make fun of what someone else might find attractive, or what they relate to more on a personal level. 

 The Zelda fandom needs a healthy dose of "live and let live." Side-eye if you must but for the love of god, someone relating to Sheik/Zelda as a trans character or whatever variation of that does not ruin your beloved franchise.
