"𝐆𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔'𝐕𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 to hear him breathe," she grinned, speaking in a hushed, cautious murmur even here, far from the Empire's shadow. "I have." And if there was one thing Aphra knew, it was droids. They whispered to her in that tantalizing mechanical language, begging to be tinkered with; no one had ever taught her the words, or which wires went where — she just understood it intuitively.
Not Vader, though. Reading him took time. The things that stood out to her weren't squeaky gears or loose bolts. It was a twitch in his fingers, a tell-tale hitch in the even timbre of his respirator. He spoke more in his silence than he ever did with his words. All very human signs, if she said so herself.
"Besides, droids can't wield the force."

A slightly disappointed smile appeared on Mauls features, he truly had been hopping to test his mettle against another Mandalorian recently. After all Vizsla had been worthy, and Maul really just wanted to practice more in all honesty. Although he couldn’t help but lean forward at the mention of giving out information.
A sly smirk tugged at the corner of the Zabraks lips as he firmly placed his hands together, resting them on the top of his legs. A sign of interest and curiosity of course while all the more looking like some sinister overlord.
“ Information comes with many prices...’vod’. Although it truly does depend on what exactly this information is you seek. I may be willing to give it for free, or it may just cost you your life. “ Torment was one of Mauls favorite games, and he most certainly used it against his Mandalorian subordinates.
Sith eyes followed the movement of her hand, the grace in such a motion followed by the knife. Although he was serious in appearance with that grin of his, Maul did question if by chance she would attempt to assassinate him. Literally sitting on the edge of his seat, Maul was excited as if he was eager to fight. And then he realized what she was saying, what her question was and this made Maul sit up straight. Expression gave away his surprise as he found himself standing up and approaching her, examining the way the knife floated.
“ A Jedi would see you as a threat. The Mandalorians may even see you as a target or enemy if you show such abilities before them. “ Maul paused as he placed a hand to his chin and thought for a moment.
“ You made the right choice, coming to me. For what you’ve explained and shown is something only a force wielder can do. One such as myself. I can show you how to control such power, how to harness it to make you an even better warrior. “ Finally placing his hands behind his back, Maul was serious but in a way that seemed less hostile and more Lord like.

💊 - What is their opinion on the spice trade?
Fordo’s personal experience with the criminal underworld in all of its forms is extremely limited. He understands there’s slavery involved in the mining process, which he finds abhorrent. He would never do recreational drugs under any circumstance, as he believes mind-altering substances only serve to make their user less aware of their surroundings and thus more vulnerable, not to mention the high chances of addiction. He does understands why one would want to tune out their surroundings, however.
Spice’s legitimate medicinal properties in certain forms are enough for him to agree that the Galactic Republic and similar polities should have a hand in its regulation and synthesis, if only to edge out the criminal producers. It’s not like the Republic’s government can get more corrupt.
Ultimately, he’d defer to others’ judgement on the topic if prompted.

24. How do you feel about tears? Are they cowardly and weak? Do you cry? Would you consider that shameful?
Oh boy, tears. Okay so I know that tears are very healthy and healing in the right amount. I personally hate crying because I get a massive headache afterward. It’s not just a little headache, it lasts all day. It’s worse than a hangover. That being said, I obviously avoid crying. So I don’t cry often, but I don’t think it’s shameful and I don’t think it’s weak.
💬 Heard it isn't really Boba Fett under that helmet. That it's some other clone.

“It’s not mine.”
Thel hadn’t noticed the blackening stain that seeped into the seams of her right gauntlet - the one that held the vibroblade tucked against her forearm - until the sentients at the bar counter stared sidelong. Even then, she shrugged it off. Occupational hazard. Everyone knew hunting wasn’t a clean job. Only when the Zillo employees started to notice did she try and brush it off.
“Most of it.” The gauntlet-blade clicked as it shot into place, gleaming dully. The Mando inspected it casually, retracting the blade before offering her armored wrist to the rose-colored Nautolan who stood closest. “See, black blood, mostly. Devaronian. Mine’s red.”
The further Thel got into her reassurance, the worse it got. She grimaced under the helmet, tilting her head slightly. “...Don’t worry about it.” Propping one elbow on the counter, she leaned her head casually on a gloved hand. The fold of her arm hid the bloodstained slash in her sleeve, just above the gauntlet. Or at least that was the idea.
The lower levels of Coruscant often attracted strange and shady characters, and the Zillo Beast saw them all. It wasn’t strange to see patrons come to the bar covered in blood while they gulped down the strongest stuff the bar offered. One night, a man passed out on the bar from blood loss before anyone noticed the crimson puddle at his feet. The authorities were called immediately and it was a hassle having to explain why a half-dead man was found on their premises. Since then, there was a strict “no bleeding policy” put into place.
The nautolan eyed the woman’s knife warily. She was right, the blood on the blade wasn’t human, but the stranger’s movements were stiff and calculated as if she were trying to hide something on her sleeve. Vez leaned with her back against the bar table, arms crossed over her bralette top and glittering beads.
“Sure you’re going to be okay there, beautiful? Don’t want you ruining that nice suit of armour.”
