Tilda: Despises the color brown. To a concerning degree.
Dinahi: once saw land people break a bottle on a boat for good luck and now constantly tries to throw things at passing boats hoping to bring them good luck.
Brin: is the king of Acapello Cove. He says it's the truth and you better believe him.
Derle: collects snail shells. Sometimes the snail is still in its shell and he gets upset when he finds a prized shell has wandered off.
Zalfe: She'd never honestly admit it, but she holds a deep seated jealousy and slight resentment towards her older sister. She's ashamed of these feelings, but her mind latches onto the sting of how unfair it all is that Lyrova lives a life Zalfe feels completely robbed of. She knows it's not her sister's fault and she hasn't exactly been jumping at the bit to change it. But grief really sowed something nasty in the back of her mind.
