6, Silver Lining, YoungSang
“that was impressive”
Young-Do looked up to see Hyo-Shin staring at the sleeping Eun-Sang and he had to smile. “I not joking. You delivered your own son, Young-Do. Not many men could do that.”
“You helped,” he had to mutter. Hyo-Shin must’ve raided his closest and stolen a set of his clean exercise clothes. Young-Do hoped he threw the ruined suit away. No one told him there would be so much blood. “Thank you, hyung.” His throat nearly closed over the word. It felt like it had been too long since he’d said it.
“It was the least I could do.” Their talking must’ve woken up his wife, because Eun-Sang stirred and looked panicked for a moment. Hyo-Shin took Jung-Woo from him so he could go to her side and calm her.
“Hey,” he said softly. “Everything is okay. We’re at home, the doctor says you’re doing great, and Jung-Woo just fell asleep.”
Eun-Sang relaxed but held onto his hand tightly. “It felt like a dream. Did Hyo-Shin really sing to me to help with the contractions?”
Young-Do smiled and then nodded over at their...friend. “He did. Do you want me to get a nurse? I’m paying three of them to stay until you feel better. I’ve already called the nanny we agreed on. She’ll be here tomorrow. So will your mother.”
Eun-Sang smiled at Hyo-Shin and just looked tired. “We don’t need three nurses.”
“I need three nurses,” he muttered as she fell back asleep.
