Statement of intent : “For this project, I drew a sketch that represents our group’s idea, which was inspired by our chosen sentence. The sentence evokes a sense of danger in a dark, silent forest, and I aimed to visually capture that atmosphere in the sketch. The sketch features elements that reflect the eerie and ominous setting, such as towering, shadowy trees, a dense and almost suffocating darkness, and subtle details that hint at hidden dangers lurking within the forest. Through this visual representation, I wanted to emphasize the unsettling stillness and the tension of being in an environment where silence feels heavy and foreboding. The sketch connects deeply to the theme by focusing on the emotions and sensations that the sentence conveys, allowing viewers to experience the same sense of danger and mystery.”
