I read your pinned. I hope this isn't a bother to you. A lot of the things you post express thoughts, behaviors, and desires similar to what I have going on. It makes me feel less monstrous, and like thinking that was always silly. You don't have to be mutuals with me, but I would welcome it. I don't Need a response either.

This blog helped me feel like the stuff that rattles my head does not make me uniquely evil and I wanted to express appreciation for that. Thanks.

Mutt is a slur for mixed race people. You don't identify yourself as mixed race anywhere. You should change your username.

i didn't choose "bpdmutt" because of any racial meaning. i was using "mutt" metaphorically to mean something like a stray, someone who feels out of place or unwanted. i was using it as a self-deprecating term, not a racial one.

that said, while i appreciate the information, do not speak to me as though you have the right to tell me what to do with my blog or username.

i totally agree. everyone just kinda wants someone to immediately attach to but i feel like nobody ever actually sees one another as real humans/as soon as one exhibits signs of being a real flawed human things blow up. ig thats to be expected in online spaces, it's almost impossible to understand the actual reality of who you're talking to.

unfortunately i’m not delusional enough to believe i’ll meet the love of my life on here. everyone popular on yanblr either has some kind of ongoing beef with other blogs or is already someone’s ex anyway.

and if it ever did happen, i’d just call it a failed experiment and move on, because i don’t really trust anything that starts in a space like this to turn into something real. it's stupid to even believe or hope for it to.

and this just... doesn’t feel like the kind of place where that happens. everything feels too performative, too immediate, too aware of itself to ever be something genuine.
