Snickering at the idea of Astarion finding out that a Tav is still a virgin at their age and he's just confounded. This comes from a line I came across with the BOOOAL fish people and taking care of their "God".

"If they ask for a sacrifice, let's make it a virgin. Young and hot blooded!"

I side-eyed him SO FUCKING HARD then loved the idea that in my ace run, my Tav could be one and it just befuddles him. He'd quickly backtrack on that comment when he puts two and two together >XD Considering they're a Drow that's 100+, they're an adult too.

"You. You're how old and never-?"

"Never really had an interest, really."

"... ... ... Never ever?"

"Never ever."

"... And you're not even the least bit curious?"

"*shrugs* Guess not."

"The whole time? The whole time- THE WHOLE TIME?! And here I thought you were just playing hard to get!"

Cue a bunch of scoffing and confused noises as he walks away and comes back several times, trying to process this >XD He's short circuiting. It ends with him telling Tav that if they ever become curious, he is to be the FIRST to know and makes them swear it. It also may bring back memories of Sebastian with Astarion most likely being a lot of firsts for him.

I also realize that this might have EVERYONE IN THE FUCKING CAMP trying harder to gain Tav's favor to be their first with how everyone seems to be thirsting for them. -_-

**Not all aces are virgins and vice versa for those who are curious. This is just playing with one aspect of my personal life and experience. Nothing wrong with being a virgin either.

Astarion learning Tav is a virgin and teasing them about it.

(He seems obsessed with virgins lol)

"Poor thing," Astarion tuts upon hearing Tav mentioning being inexperienced in a conversation with the other companions before everyone heads to bed, a grin plastered on his face. "I couldn't imagine a life where no one is willing to touch me."

Tav rolls their eyes.

"Says the elf who was just trying to get me to meet with him out in the middle of the woods," they snicker. This causes the vampire to snap an unamused stare in Tav's direction as they set out their bedroll by the fire before mimicking him, a hand on their chest and the other up as if taking an oath. "'On my honor, the only thing on my mind is depraved, carnal lust.' If you're going to tease me about being a virgin, you might not want to say something that incriminates you first."

"Hmph..." Astarion narrows his eyes before moving to stand over Tav as they lay back to look at the sky with their hands behind their head. "Fine, I can let that go. But..." he kneels and leans over them in a position reminiscent of him going to bite them, a playful smile on his face. "You really don't know what you're missing."

"I think I can live with that for now. It's not exactly high on my "to do" list."

"So you'll be perfectly okay if I offer you up if a virgin sacrifice is needed?" he tilts his head, his eyes sweeping over Tav's features. "Virgin blood is extremely valuable to cultists, as well as some magic users... You would fetch quite a price at Sharess Caress, too, selling to the highest bidder..."

"Oh, sure, as long as you're okay with getting yourself killed. Who's protecting who now?" Tav leans up, their nose barely brushing his as if initiating a kiss. "Besides, I think you're more relieved that I am one."

"And what makes you think that?" he breathes, lowering himself onto his elbows and closer to meet it.

"You stopped trying to sleep with me after finding out what I am with no interest in changing my mind," Tav smirks, laying their head back down on the pillow, causing Astarion to catch himself from falling on them as if he was going to go in for the kiss. "Not even if propositioned by a drop-dead gorgeous vampire. I'd think someone who had nothing but "depraved, carnal lust" on his mind would chase me down to the ends of the earth to convince me..."

Astarion shook his head with an unamused chuckle as if Tav hit the nail on the head.

"Virgin sacrifice it is."

Tav lets out a snicker before Astarion moves to their neck and they let out a squeak, their legs curling when he dramatically bites down. Despite the pain, they let out a small giggle which earns them a muffled chuckle.

Wyll lays on the bedroll across from the fire, staring up at the sky with a furrowed brow and a concerned gaze, an unfortunate witness to this.

"You two have a strange way of flirting..."

"I don't want you to think of me in terms of sex..."

I've been thinking of this line in the context of Astarion speaking to an ace/virgin!Tav after he has found he's fallen for them in a slow burn. He wouldn't want them to think of him the way he's presented himself, it was all a mask. He doesn't want them to think he'll pressure them into something like that if they're also interested in a relationship with him. It's apparent that they like him in return but he isn't sure of how much. He's afraid of scaring them off if he tries to go about this in a way he's "known" for.

Astarion just knows since sex is not at the forefront of what Tav wants, he can be comfortable with exploring himself with a patient partner. Sex wouldn't entirely be off the table, depending on the Tav, but it'll help Astarion figure out what he wants while having someone to curl up with, hold, and dote on who wants the best life for him and not do anything he doesn't want to do.

Ascended Astarion, once Ze'erith/Mortal/Virgin/Ace!Tav is ready to give themselves to him, body and soul after so long, he's going to go all out. Screw the event happening behind closed doors and no one knowing that they became his. He's throwing a massive wedding party because he can.

He'll send invitations out to anyone who breathes, deck out the entire estate, and plan everything down to a T. Everything HAS to be perfect, Ze'erith/Tav HAS to be comfortable or someone's head will roll, and anyone who messes this up will be buried six feet under the hard way. He'll become a complete bridezilla while being incredibly sweet and loving while talking to his bride/groom-to-be.

This would also be a tease to anyone who touts themselves as a "hero", almost daring them to come and stop the ceremony, unaware that the bride/groom is 100% for it, something he could rub in not only their faces but vampires like Strahd's.

That vampire would be over the moon the entire time, it would be absolutely adorable. The question is, would the change happen before the ceremony and the union consummated after the ceremony or would the change happen at the ceremony where everyone can witness Tav's rebirth and have everything else after? I guess it would depend on Astarion's confidence in himself not to mess up the change in front of others XD

Ze'erith: So... *leans against a tree with their arms crossed near Astarion's tent in Act 2* Hypothetically, if I'm bitten as a virgin, does that mean I'll always be one forever, regardless?

Astarion: *stares off as he lowers his book, his face reddening some at the thought since he's still gunning for ascension and he has not slept with Ze'erith at all* ... ... ... *eyes dart in their direction* That's... oddly specific. Are you contemplating something?

Ze'erith: *tilts their head with one hell of a poker face* Nope. Just another thought experiment since you seem to love them so much. And you did mention something about the tadpole blocking your regeneration which got me thinking about it. So, play along. What do you think? If I were bitten by some devilishly handsome vampire lord while "untouched", what would my status be afterward if I decided to lay with someone?

Astarion: *clears his throat and rolls his eyes up, trying to hide how flustered he had gotten at the thought* Well, considering I have been locked in this form after all this time, I would believe that yes, you would remain a virgin physically. Mentally, you should retain the knowledge you gain from lying with anyone. *gives them a playful smirk* And, I may add, that would make your devilishly handsome master one lucky vampire lord to have that opportunity.

Ze'erith: *stares at him blankly* Huh. *pushes off the tree* Well, curiosity sated. *heads back toward their tent*

Astarion: *face falls and he starts following hastily after* Wait, wait, wait! Don't be such a tease! You can't bring that up and not tell me what you're thinking!

Ze'erith: *shoots a smirk back at him* Consider this me learning from the best when it comes to being a tease. *shrugs innocently* Besides, I was only curious. What else could I possibly want from that line of thinking? *wanders off with him on their heels*

Astarion: Oh sure! You've become curious about it after I suggest taking over the ritual! *throws his hands up then whines* Come on, talk to me! Why now?! Ze'erith! At least tell me if you are planning something! ... Tell me, am I the "devilishly handsome vampire lord" in this hypothetical?!

Gale: *whose tent is right next to Astarion's, clears his throat when the two are out of earshot as he flips the page of his book, face slightly reddened* Never a dull moment or conversation when you bed down near the resident vampire...
