i really like the idea that vyn kept a modern vibe on fauna with his outfit while wiwi and dakota went full fantasy, kinda sucks we never got a description of his outfit tho but i really like what i came up with, just kinda combining rogueish attire with the style he wears on prime. also made his sword completely not like it actually canonically looks like because i like the idea of it being yellow/golden like his dagger is. at first i wanted to have his details be silver but it just stood out too much against his dark clothes but he looks so good in gold it all works out now
also i think it would be very funny if williams outfit was the most decorated and fancy and weird as the guy whos edgy and trying to not stand out so much. i imagine his eyes would have a stronger glimpse of blue in them than he usually does to kinda represent him being filled with magic now. also he definitely should have sneakers on for the bit but i wanted to draw those cute boots so so bad, which is also why i made his robe shorter to show them off. his hat fully just dissipates at the end like flame or even smoke because obviously it does. also made his hair have more of the white patches because thats fun
for dakota i just really went with the description that was given cause it immediately gave me the vision and was just sick as hell, grizz really knows what hes talking about when he makes up his characters outfits i love that guys vision, hope i got it right but idk how good i am at drawing without visual references and just working off description. for personal touches i just added a lot of jewerly, i always draw him wearing a gold chain and wanted to keep that, but i also wanted to add some more bracelets besides the ones that were described cause dakota strikes me as a guy who just really likes to accessorize. hes a fashion girly in my brain it just makes sense. also his bandana ties back his hair because i really wanted to keep it visible on his head and i think its awesome for him to use it as a hair tie this way tee hee
everyone got a braid because its fantasy, you just gotta have at least one.
also if youre wondering, i made them the heights i headcanon them to have with william being 175cm, dakota 164cm and vyncent 190cm, wanted to make vyn a bit shorter but i think it actually adds to his otherworldliness if hes just way too tall for Just a Guy. so basically everyone is around the same height as the canon one except dakota shrunk in the wash
