I recently finished a pair of fingerless lace gloves, or wrist warmers. They were an improvised in-between-project, when I found myself without a WIP during a trip.
They don’t match in pattern but both have a lot of treble cross stitch repeats to tie them together. The rest is improvised.
The basics of the design are: make a square as wide as the palm oh your hand and as long as you want them, measuring from the knuckle. Crochet alternating lace patterns until your desired length, and then edge everything. Sew the side together, leaving a hole for the thumb.
