Jamie watched Mia closely to see what kind of reaction she would get from seeing the game. She smiled when she realized it was a look of interest before she looked at the screen again. The ravenette had actually nearly beaten this game, but got stuck at one point and hadn’t touched it in a long time.
“Well depending on what tool you choose depends on what levels you’ll get certain skills and abilities, normally I go with the sword”
“Hmm, an aggressive tool the sword is,” Mia muses. Still unsure what to choose. If it is ability based then maybe it means little to the story. Maybe she should just choose the tool that best fits her. Scepter likely means more magical abilities while the shield is the symbol of a protector. ... Yes, that works.
Mia makes her choice, jumping the character onto the pedestal that holds the shield. ... And now she has to give up something.
“Oh dear. You didn’t tell me I’d have to make so many choices straight away,” Mia grumbles as she guides the character to give up the sword.
