Moderated by Digital Realty Executive Michael Siteman, the interactive conference will feature live demonstrations of how state-of-the-art Predictive Data Center Infrastructure Monitoring can help IT and facility professionals measure current data center demands and anticipate future ones. Presenters will show how to create a virtual test facility that predicts and visualizes the outcome of power and cooling decisions before critical IT equipment is installed.

Additionally, attendees will learn how to eliminate the need for physical data center audits, reducing the time to find and repair equipment.

The seminar’s end-user panel will provide guidance on using DCIM to optimize the configuration and layout of network servers, power distribution units and associated cooling systems to plan for future growth and avoid stranding power capacity. Additionally Southern California Edison will provide some perspective on how utilities can assist with data center retrofits.

DCIM alone is not enough. Being able to predict and analyze situations before deploying key IT equipment and critical infrastructure is important for any data center manager, and can prevent the need for a pre-mature build out and the loss of millions of dollars.
