After a pretty decent hiatus from this virtual world I’ve been in a little bit of an exploritative mood a of recently. Honestly, it’s probably due to my minimal outings from the house due to COVID-19. But, with the cases rising in my area drastically and becoming the next hot spot state with the virus it’s safer to just isolate and go out when needed. While looking for places to explore in Second Life I went to the destinations guide and there was only one Adult sim. Keep in mind I usually find myself in rated G or M areas (General or Moderate). But I shrugged and thought why not? and then my journey in the F.E.A.R sim began.

About the sim and the Creator
F.E.A.R isn’t what you expect it to be, it’s not supposed to be scary or horror themed. It’s actually the complete opposite. It’s a sim of gorgeous scenery, racing rapids, mountain tops, trees, and random buildings to explore and relax in. Taking in the breathtaking views I began walking across stone bridges over water and taking paths that led to areas around the area. This sim was the creators first time building an area to share with everyone. A month ago the creator of this breath taking sim rented a homestead and always wanted to make a complete sim creation. The creator hit a low in their life and finally decided to roll with it. F.E.A.R stands for Face Everything and Recover. In AA meetings it also means F*** Everything and Run. I’ll be honest the second meaning hit better than the first. But with anxiety and mental breakdowns the creator made a place where they could escape. A place to relax and recollect. F.E.A.R is a place to escape to and relax and nearly means what it’s called.
What’s on the sim?
The creator made a home like their real life a living space with nature, views, mountains, and water. The elements that made the creator happy and calm and hoped to do the same for those coming to explore the area. There are many places to sit and two homes one that was smaller and a bigger one that looked like a lake house. The small house in considered a small hangout the creator says sometimes this little home becomes blocked off to the public so they can sit with friends and as they quote be the “anti-social sim host.” The larger house is a mix of stylish, artsy, and erotic decorations with a twist. There’s also a movie that can play and be watched in the attic.
The sim is rated A (adult) to prevent TOS rules that make individuals whine, nag, and report individuals. There aren’t any rezz permissions which let’s be honest unless it’s your land why would there be? there are wind light settings so make sure you use them to explore the full experience of this sim. This is also a wonderful sim to take photos and videos on if you’re a virtual world photographer or videographer.
Overall, I love this creation and it’s such a relaxing place to hangout in and just take in the scenery and the sound of the water crashing against the rocks. If you’re feeling nervous or need a break this is the place to be. I 10/10 recommended. Below is one more photo I took with different wind light settings.
