Fun question!
So babel is out, :( which takes off four of my predictions on how things will go (forced babel reenactment, the gift removed the receivers voice, or knowledge of the language we were using, and just straight up the ability to permanently mute someone[perfect for Elsa]),
I’ve got a few theories concerning Eve, I believe she is the headmaster’s child that survived. But why would that just be a theory in universe that the child survived, why would second or third tell us that? But most evidence imo suggests she’s a daughter of him and to keep it mostly hidden/remove any trace of the former headmaster beyond basic respect (Ie Second says they gave him that much, since they’re not animals). Basically a headmaster Jin and Kyoko situation except they’re smart about it this time instead of relying on her memories not coming back.
The Lilith theory is a fun one! Basically, I’ve got a few theories concerning this one but I’ll explain the religious basis here.
Basically, in Judaic and Mesopotamian doctrine, Adam had a first wife that wasn’t Eve. Her name was Lilith, and most modern depictions of her don’t recognize her as this but instead what she became. She refused to submit to Adam, and was in turn cast out and became the first primordial female demon. In these cases, Eve is still the first sinner, the first indirect cause of death, but Lilith was the first to be cast out.
I’ll tel you the theory I’m a lot more partial to, compared to the five or six theories I have surrounding Lilith(due note that there is no basis to my theories here, other than me just knowing a lot about religion/adoring learning about different faiths/mythology).
Basically my favorite theory is that ‘Lilith’ is a girl nearly identical to Eve working behind the scenes alongside Second and Third(not as First though, she’s dead?). Perhaps near the end of chapter five or the start of six and reveal herself, causing discord since ‘she’ is supposed to be dead, and cause us to despair since what was the point if she never died in the first place.
Of course like I said that’s just me talking out of no where, but it’s fun to imagine :D.
Further more, there’s a few things I’d like to look into (Is Third really the mastermind? Or just a puppet figure for the student mastermind?), or even (Just what forces exist in this world?)
Idk, but I’m thinking about a lot of things and I haven’t seen anything as engaging that makes me want to guess this much in a long while so kudos to them! Also I kinda want a reference for the puppets, Third, and Second.
