A star shines #acrosstheuniverse

With light which is uniquely hers

Vast swathes of space and time traversed

Until her light meets you

Gazing happenstance a while

She meets your eyes your mind your smile

And rests there gently for a while

Her light belongs to you

For some an unknown personal meaning

Captures their hearts their mind their feelings

Which resonates sets pulses reeling

Because her light meets you

Like voices in a social force

Eviscerating those averse

To standing up against the worst

Her light will shine on truth

Receptive eyes and heart and soul

An openness to one and all

The 'power of love' choose to extoll

Her light is within you 

For those that have desire to see

From this perspective certainly

We are just one humanity

Her light resides in you

Now let us here a truth observe

This 'gentle twinkling' is converse

Great power there is in reserve

Her light shines on through you

True there is no recompen$e

No shiny thirty silver cents

For those who seek $ignificance

Her light is not for you

She therefore has no value see

To corporations GOP

And still she shines across the sea

Of ignorance and fear

That's why
