  The unbirthday party hosted by the Heartslyabul dorm was going considerably ... nicer than the first one she had attended. There were no sudden magical disturbances nor any insult being thrown back and forth that would inevitably  lead to said magical disturbances which she would have to help clean up. Ace and Deuce had invited her rather enthusiastically in the beginning of the week, but it was Trey’s persuasion that had actually convinced her to come. It was difficult to refuse him compared to the other two admittedly. She also felt that if he was going to be there, then she’d be able to ease up amidst the other strangers from the dorm.

  The conversation picked up once the topic moved onto the inspiration for the dorm -- the Queen of Hearts. Yuuna’s not native to this land and has yet to dig into any background so everything flies over her head. Trey wakes her up from her daze -- the story of how a queen becomes a queen. 

  “ ... By marrying a king or prince, right ? ” 

  That’s how it always is. She hates those sugary stories that talk about a princess being rescued by a prince and becoming a queen, but she makes that statement with such a fake innocence as if she believed in them. She notices that she accidentally put on a gloomy face in front of Trey and immediately fixed it by putting on a beaming smile. 

  “ Oh, but it might be different for the Queen of Hearts, ” Yuuna comments, leaning towards him. “ Why don’t you tell me about it ? Since I really don’t know. ”

  Yuuna is a diligent student in any setting whether that be the classroom, the horseback riding club, and even the kitchen. She holds Trey and Jamil both as baker and cook of the highest caliber within the school, even better than her ( ! ). Even if others consider it a pointless endeavor when they have better things to attend to at this magical academy, she’d been enthusiastic in asking Trey to teach her to make tarts that look as sweet and pretty as his. It’s certainly not the best looking tart, but the arrangement of the fruit ( kiwis and strawberries -- her two favorite fruits ) matched the pattern he had show her before. The smile on her face widens ; she’s practically beaming up at him in anticipation.

  Any other time, and perhaps her expression would be plastic, a mere performance she was putting on. However, Trey was a kind person, a genuinely kind person. Yuuna sees this and lets herself relax in his presence, if only slightly. 

  “ How does it look ? I followed your instructions, so it can’t have turned out too bad. ”

First Impressions [ Accepting ]

“And what exactly did you hear, Floyd-senpai?”

She was surprised that people even gave her the time of day. Sure enough, having disrupted the entrance ceremony was a thing that got people talking, however, that was all in the past-- well, the past few weeks at least. Right now, Jiyuu was just making the most of the hand she was dealt with. Ramshackle was a mess that needed constant improvements; Grim was a pain in the neck who caused as much trouble as she did... if not more, and then there was her Prefect who helped her manage and salvage what they could of the dorm.

So it wouldn’t be a surprise if other students saw the vice housewarden of the eighth dorm her running around doing odd jobs. Then again, while it doesn’t seem like they’ve ever stopped being NRC’s janitorial team anyway; having a job or two on the side never hurts. Thankfully, Ashengrotto-san was always eager to receive a helping hand around the lounge. She just didn’t think that one of the Leech Brothers would suddenly strike up a conversation-- and one based on gossip too, it seemed.

“It's nothing scandalous, right?” She pouted, such claims often did put her in a certain mood. Either way, if it was, how timely. She’d just have to ask where he heard such a thing. Jiyuu’s been looking for a good punching bag lately anyway.

It's always been on my mind ever since that one ask from last year.

Kiomi likes her little hair trinkets just as much as she likes her weapons, so if you were to go into her room and poke around, you'll probably see an assortment of hair ties, clips, bows, etc. all neatly kept in a transparent box with divisions, for easy sorting.

In that box, there's a slot for sturdy, silk hair ties of assorted colors, in both plain and designed, you know...

...in case Izo ever finds himself in need of one again.

Takechi motioned for the Hitokiri to hold his ground. Doing any more than necessary would prove to be a disadvantage given their current circumstance. Unknown territories, with an unknown enemy, playing their cards too early might cause them more than they’ve bargain for. At the very least, Zuizan wanted to assess the situation first. If negotiations turn sour and things get out of hand, then it was time for Izo to act and play his part.

“Lay low somewhere for now, and make sure to secure the area.” He leaned in a moment, making sure that the conversation was something that was kept strictly between the two of them.

“I’m entrusting this task to you for the sake of our goals. Now go, and leave this part of the plan to me.” And he ended his piece, patting Okada's back, expecting him to follow through with his orders without too much of a complaint. In situations like these where a little bit of diplomacy was the game to be played, Izo needed only to trust and follow what he says.

From apsu-borne creation to cataclysm, making catacombs out of cathedrals, destruction is an easily played song upon the carnelian-shorn flutes of one who has made game of war and war a game, UTTER annihilation an assurance to those whom found themselves at the receiving end of his phantasma as numerous as the gilded stars. Though he turns not to the Lancer, still intent on leaving his sight pristine of all aberrations, the sovereign’s words are natheless meant for him, rife upon the ennui of one whose desires had not been slaked.  “You speak of power, yet yours remains to be seen.”

          A BORE, this place seemed to be rife with them.
