The idea of ‘princess’ lessons wasn’t really an idea Birdie had been too fond of. Sure, she had wanted to fit in, but learning on her own terms, and with people she was comfortable around, was an idea she had felt better well suited to her means. However, at the recommendation of a higher up, Birdie had found herself in a situation without much of a choice. Thus, here she sat in the drawing room waiting for her newly appointed teacher to arrive.
