So the bottom portion of this used to be the old page 1, and even the top part was done about a year ago. Looking back on this page prior to posting it, I felt the urge to fix a lot of the modeling to bring it more in line, but I'm trying not to let it get to me too much. As with a lot of new comics, even with me having drawn these characters a lot in my sketchbook, I guess the art will evolve naturally with time.
I probably redid this and the following page 4 or 5 times, and that's only counting the digital version. I first tried my hand on this version a couple years ago and let it sit before overhauling the first page into the current first 1 1/2 pages. I still have some traditionally inked "first page"s on actual comic book art board from 10 years ago, too, so I'm happy to finally be putting something out. This page isn't too exciting, of course, as it's just an establishing shot, but hopefully it sets the scene adequately and you will all enjoy what's coming.

So this is a group shot of what will eventually be Horror U’s “Those Three Guys.” We have Stud who was infected with lycanthropy, Spike who was incompletely turned by a vampire so became a revenant, and Vishuss who is a vampiric scion.
