Happy Monday Beautiful Earthlings! Hello from Khadzhi Dimitur also known as Buzludzha, the Monument House from the Bulgarian Communist Party. I wanted to go to this monument because it looked like a space ship and I appreciate non rectangular buildings. I rode 4 hours to and from this monument, so 8 hours total on the worst road in the freezing cold. There was snow on the mountain when I went. The place is actually really creepy and has a eerie energy here. It was really windy at the top of this mountain and I thought my bike was going to blow over, so I explored this site pretty quickly. The pictures are pretty cool, but was it worth the ride in 32 degree F/ 0 C weather? Not really. You can break in and wander, but the energy was so weird, I’ve come to realize I’m not a fan of abandoned spaces. So you get the best part of this adventure: the photos, while I suffered in the cold, wind and exhaustive ride. Do you like to explore abandoned spaces?
