Papa Kiyo to the Rescue
A knock on her door made the girl squint, confused. She want expecting company today--unless... Had Marc found Eram?! She jumped to her feet and practically ran to the door, tripping over burned debree in her living room as she did so. But when she opened the door, it was not Marc and Eram, cheerily coming to assure her everything was ok with Vulcan slobbering next to them. "D-Dad..." She mumbled, shocked. "Oh my god, dad!" Ivy practically mowed him over, throwing her arms around his neck as he lifted her up into a strong embrace. "Hi honey," he said, squeezing his daughter. "I missed you." "I missed you too--I didn't actually think you'd come--" she cut herself off, pulling away from him and discretely looking back toward her burnt up living room. "Ahaha!!" she exclaimed, standing in front of her door, "I'm just so excited you're here, let's go out to eat!" Her father tilted his head, giving her a confused look as he tried to look past her shoulder. "U-um, Ivy, I should at least go out my bags down," he replied, taking a step forward. The psychic waved her hands frantically. "That is, ah!" but he had already made his way past her, standing dumbfounded in the doorway. Staring for a few moments, Ivy tried to think up an excuse, until her father burst into laughter. "What did you do?!" he exclaimed between laughs. Ivy sighed with relief. "Not me, Vulcan," she replied, Rollin her eyes. Kiyoteru seemed more than amused. "This is going to be a fun couple of weeks, now isn't it?"
