When ever we compare our relationship with another persons relationship we set ourselves up for unnecessary thoughts and sometimes those thoughts result with issues. Always keep in mind - and I know this is hard- everyone's circumstances are different . That is applicable both for our men and us out here . Some prisonwives are blessed and are able to visit each and every week . Some of us can't . There is nothing wrong with either way it just all depends on circumstances . Just because one prisonwife can't go as often as another doesn't mean one loves her husband more or less - it's all circumstances. It's the same thing with incoming calls and letters . Some prisonwives get calls daily throughout the day - and some of us only get them once a week and sometimes even less . It all depends on our Man's circumstances in there . Just because my man doesn't call as often as some other husbands do doesn't mean he loves me less - it means his circumstances are different . It's the same with letters . Always know what you have in your heart and mind . And trust me when I say I've struggled with this too . Only more recently have I realized and really truly accepted - he will call when he can and I know he wants to talk to me just as much as I want to talk to him . Letters - I know myself I'm out here and there's time when I just can't get to a place in my mind where I can sit down and spill some ink no matter how much I try - it's got to be harder for him given his location.
