My Christmas Present to the wonderful @d00dle-arts who is ever so patient greatful for my eyes being bigger than my stomach. It's not so much a group pic as it is a family portrait now, but she seduced my bbeg vessel of Tiamat and helped her patch things up with her daughters, effectively turning Nyx... neutral??
I tried colouring all on one layer again like I used to years ago but I can't colour the same anymore ): I can't tell if it's only due to me overthinking about using colours in the most diverse manner possible for myself, or I just can't let go of a false attachment to my less evolved understanding of art.

I feel really bad for being so late on this post but I finally did my school fee loan application. I'll give you a few points as what happened :
It's annoying (not very helpful but be prepared to be aggravated)
Make sure you have a parent. There are a few questions I couldn't answer so I had to ask my dad many times to help me.
Be prepared to give out personal financial information.

Did you know what you wanted to go in when applying for university?
To be honest, I had no clue what I’d be going into during university. I knew it was going to be somewhere in the art field and I was just stumped when I didn’t know what I was going into. The last year is what I call “Finding Your Identity.” because the whole time I was going through Grade 12, I was thinking about becoming a teacher.
I worked my way through becoming a teacher to an author but my mom didn’t approve. Eventually I found out I had an eye for design but drawing was not my thing. I was thinking about maybe just making logos and things like that but you had to present a portfolio and that really wasn’t my forte.
Eventually I decided to become a dance teacher but I realized I like dancing and learning more than teaching other people what to do. And I insisted on making myself become a singer. Eventually I realized that I’d probably never become a an artist because I had a horrible voice and just focused on finding an actual path to travel for my future.
I was thinking about following my Grandfather’s footsteps and becoming and architect but dropped math because I had failed it in both Grade 10 and 11. And I decided to do something in that field like interior design until I noticed I would never be able to deal with a client’s idea who clashed with mine. So you can only imagine I dropped that thought.
And during my application season I had a long talk with my Communications and Technology teacher. He said I was remarkable editor and that I knew what I was doing - could take amazing videos. I liked the freedom of filming and editing. You could take 10 videos and edit it in so many ways, giving it so many feels.
He said my heart was in the right place when I was finally set on that option. He said I would do great things and I hope I do. And more importantly, I realized that I may not get the freedom in creativity that I hoped for in movie making, I’ll get it in music videos. Hopefully.
This is a long answer, but long story short. My advice is to understand yourself. Don’t force yourself into an occupation. You’ll understand what you want to do sooner or later.
A lot of people going into university don’t stick to what they want to do.

"Are you guys still uploading?"
Alright, just answering this question since a few people seem to be asking. No we haven't neglected this site! We've just been busy preparing since it's summer and nothing special has really happened yet. On another note, I am preparing to apply for my student loans! So I'll be posting about that soon. (Doing it tomorrow. B) )

Alright, I don't know where to begin.
So I was doing my course selection, and I have to tell you... I had no idea what I was doing - when I was done picking courses, how many to pick and also how to submit it. Long story short, just make sure you look at your program's requirements and follow them. It helps quite a bit!

You have been unfortunately declined due to competition.
So today I woke up to a very unpleasant letter. Yes, my dream school had rejected me.and well, you can only guess it pretty much sucked. What I can say from this experience is to... expect it. Don't hang yourself over something just because you were begging.
I'm going to apply again next year - and that will probably make this blog a little more appealing to those who had the same problem as me. I'll speak about my transferring process when the time comes.
But for now, wish me luck. ;u;
