COMPOSITION:
Each cream contains 0.1% Retinoic Acid in the lotion base substance.
HOW TO WORK DRUGS:
Retinoic Acid increases mitosis and epidermal cell turnover and suppresses keratin synthesis. Increased skin permeability causes loss of fluid making it easier to exfoliate and prevent the formation of new blackheads.
INDICATION:
VITACID is intended for the treatment of topical acne especially levels I-III where there are many blackheads, papules and pustules, but are ineffective in most severe pustular cases and cystic nodular (acne conglobata) variants.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to Retinoic Acid.
HOW TO USE:
VITACID should be used once a day before bedtime. Apply a thin layer to cover zits using the tips of fingers, gauze or cotton.
