For contex His character is a beautiful and frugal idiot who is a famous bassist. He is part of a group of the school’s dumbest called B6 (Baka 6). 

His character gets harassed by Sendo Kiyohara, another member of B6 who likes to play pranks and ruin things Shun spends money on. This was payback for stolen snacks. Shun even punches out the cost on a pink calculator.
