It actually only takes a small amount of introspection to realize that people (women especially) who did not follow heterosexual heteromantic and cisgender norms in history and present were not welcomed or treated kindly. They were all targeted for being “abnormal” aka, not straight. And if some people were able to act like they were straight to escape persecution or if people just assumed they were straight that is no privilege. That means they had to disguise who they were and have their identities erased. If that happened to gays that was horrible, if that happened to bi/pan people, that was horrible, if it happened to trans peoples, that is horrible, so don’t try to make an exception for aro/ace people. It’s the same thing. If people might not have had a word for their non-straightness for it back then, that doesn’t magically make it non-existent. We didn’t have a word for vitamin until 1920s. And  People suffered and died without even knowing why or having a name for what they were missing. 

 So have a little more thought before you try to jump in with allosexualism and amatonormativity nonsense to erase our present and past oppression, and *toot toot* oppressed peoples are more than just capable of spreading their oppressors propaganda so that means ALL need to think before spreading something that is meant to hurt you and your community.  -Mod Goat
