bro do you think the reason that Haitham is so good at dodging is cause he spars with Kaveh (claymore) and claymores hit hard but can be dodged fairly simply and so his entire strategy has been built around the fact that him and his sparring partner use differing weapon types

when I'm not crackpotting over what haitham's tiddy gem is I should be doing more character analysis. specifically hthm. I need to pick his brains. his philosophical ideals line up with egoism and yet he is surprisingly selfless when the moment calls for it.

okay maybe surprisingly selfless isn't the right word but as of current that is the only way I can phrase it properly I guess? I believe he shows his heart on his sleeve, just that it's wrapped in thorny vines that make it hard to discern exactly what his emotions are if you aren't skilled/knowledgeable enough to navigate the thorns
