reminds me of a fic i read but i forgot the title,,
whenever i think about the theme anaxa has with his body, autonomy, and as a whole the idea of the self I can never seem to fully stop thinking about it after a while. he has a blatant disregard for his physical body but takes great care of his identity and who he is. he'll abide by the prophecy his own way because even if it is inevitable he still believes in the better outcome. he shares his body with someone else - a god, mind you - in the last two weeks of his life and he is far calmer than most would be in that situation. he's a blasphemer in a world of gods and no matter the threats and vitriol throwb at him he stands for his beliefs. hes a line of code that surpassed his initial limits to such a degree that lygus deemed it worrhy to note. he stresses his name and the importance of it because that is who he is. theres so much more but i really do need to stop or else i wont sleep again but this is just. so intriguing to me
NEW OFFICIAL RISTAR ART JUST DROPPED!!!! BIG WIN FOR RISTAR NATION
the name "Elio" means "sun". Elio is the leader of the stellaron hunters and he's the one giving them their "scripts" which are predetermined outcomes of the future. Elio is highly theorized to be close to, if not an emanator of Finality.
In honkai impact third, Kiana, the Herrscher of Finality, resides on the moon. The moon is a greatly important in honkai impact cause not only is kiana practically tied to it but the final battle of the previous era against the final herrscher took place on the moon, and the "final herrscher" was Finality (iirc that is, dont quote me on that).
"Elio" means sun. "Kiana" means moon. I have no idea where I was going with this, I am just making an observation.

so i realized i really like the genre of fantasy romance. like a totally made up fantasy setting that may have some interesting lore or a nifty magic system but most of it takes a back seat to the romance (at least for the first book) while any subsequent books in the series might explore the limitations of this fantasy society. like basically whatever sjm popularized with her fae romance books, but less of a slogfest to get through.
and in reading a bunch of these and enjoying most of them, i wondered if this was what i was secretly hoping the original grisha trilogy could have been? like an adult fantasy romance novel called a court of shadow and bone that followed alina and aleksander as they loved and betrayed each other over centuries, as they joined forces to take down common enemies, as they sometimes spent decades living out in complete isolation, happy to for the success of the other, only to switch places again when the world became too much, spurring on near mythical tales of their exploits, eventually becoming a bastardized fairy tale.
I love when I recognize some of the words the spanish speakers are speaking not because I am learned spanish but because filipino has so many borrowed words from spanish
