In the girl bands debut, the group concept was fairly incomplete upon their first public appearance. So their first album is only based on the namesake of Candy Hearts (aka conversation hearts) but their concepts mature after the first album.
The mix up was at the fault of the company but their producer and songwriter are more than willing to work with the opinions of the band members!
Vivian is the lead singer, Azzy is the keyboardist, Cassa is the bassist, Lina is the drummer, and Frannie is the guitarist!
Xiang's eyes drifted from their gaze on the clouds, her hair splayed out across the grass. She inhales deeply, smelling the familiar scent of trees. Her eyes shut for a split second, that's when she hears a voice.
"Hey, Xixi!" That silly, energetic tone was too easy to recognize. "Uh, nihao right? That's how you say hello in Chinese?" Atlas' head cocks to the side while he chews on his lips curious.
Xiang simply nods slowly, her eyes drifting back to the clouds.
Atlas plops down beside her, speaking happily, his bracelet with the initials 'AL' gleaming lightly in the sun.
The truth is, they both got one from a strange new kid. They don't really know who it was but hey, maybe they'll become friends. Xiang has a bracelet with the initials 'XL' on hers as well, her eyes dropping to her wrist to admire the trinket.
She'd never received jewelry from another person before, especially not someone her age.
Suddenly she sees a hand waved in front of her face, she blinks fast and turns her head to Atlas, humming a curious noise.
"Xixi, you totally ignored me. You crazy doggo."
Xiang's eyebrows furrow, 'doggo?' that's not a word in her vocabulary. It sounds similar to the word dog, but English is so confusing...
She lets out a heavy sigh and stands up, her peace interrupted by the visitor. She waves politely to him before walking away.
A few minutes pass as she walks in silence, the sound of the afternoon birds cheeping fills her ears.
A soft rustle reaches her, causing her senses to perk up curiously.
"Hn?" She hms softly, looking around, searching for the source of the noise.
Deciding it wasn't anything important, she bends down and plucks a dandelion from the ground. She puts it close to her mouth, silently praying a wish.
"I want to go home."
The fluffy seeds float away in the breeze, finding their way to their place in the ground.
She hears that same rustling sound before someone pops out from behind a bush.
"Oh hi! I didn't see you there."
The girl before her, with striking green eyes might I add, has pink bangs and deep brown hair. Her tanned skin spattered with freckles.
The girl towers above Xiang, she has to look up as she approaches to maintain eye contact.
"I'm Lily! I was just looking for my brother Tony and well, I got a little lost."
She giggles a little awkwardly and rubs the back of her head.
"oh wow! I like your earmuffs, super cute. Where'd ya get em?"
Xiang opens her lips in shock, this pretty girl right in front of her was complimenting her earmuffs?!
She stands there in shock, cheeks heating up. Wow. She just doesn't know what to say.
"H-Home." She manages to choke out, her voice soft and barely audible over the rustling of the trees.
She sees the other girl's cheeks turn a soft pink at the sound of her quiet voice.
"Uh, wow! Cool." She giggles nervously before clearing her throat and speaking again. "What's your name?"
Xiang blinks slowly, pausing again, she's so scared to speak, but she remembers, she can say her name in Mandarin! Why would it be any different in English?
"Xiang." She says, for once carrying a hint of confidence in her tone.
"Wow, that's a pretty name! I've never heard anyone called Xiang before." She grins widely
Once again, Xiang is shocked speechless. Here face turning a deep red once more as she stares up at the emerald eyed girl.
God she's pretty.
Xiang practically jumps out of her skin when Vivian speaks again, after having gotten lost in her eyes.
"So, I see you have a bracelet like me!" She grins widely, showing off her bracelet with the initials 'VG', and Xiang's eyes widen.
She lifts her wrist, staring at the matching bracelets.
She nods profusely before letting a sweet and soft smile grace her lips, eyes scrunching up slightly as she smiles, cheeks rosy from happiness and... maybe something else too.
Lily's mouth opens slightly, cheeks reddening as well. Wow. What a pretty girl! How cool. She thinks to herself, completely unaware of her blooming feelings.
"Ah! Yeah, I should go find Anthony. I'll see you around Xiang!"
Xixi nods once more, and as the girls runs off into the distance she falls to the ground, clutching her chest.
She's panting, breathless as her heart pounds.
There must be something in the air, because her eyes dart around anxiously as she takes it all in.
She carefully rips a dandelion from its place in the ground, carefully wishing once again and blowing.
Her wish had changed.
"Please let me see Lily again."
Her eyes shut as the dandelion seeds fly away, in her head those captivating emerald eyes are there, staring.
She fell in love with the girl with emerald eyes.
