✣ ——— The scent of the candle burning, sandalwood with a hint of vanilla wafted through the room. He didn’t speak much about what had been going through his mind, not that it mattered much, his worries would stay with him no need to have his beloved shoulder the weight of them.
Sitting there on the bed, soft, sinking into it, his hair slightly damp from the shower he took an hour before, with some knots here and there as he felt the comb go through the white strands of his hair. Her slender fingers parting the locks into smaller sections as she paid attention to go through it carefully. Something he would have done himself it weren’t for his current state. His arms bandaged up and his right, dominant hand trying to regain its strength from the cuts it was healing from.
He could care for himself otherwise, with some struggle, but he could do it himself, but for now he’d sit there as he shared this moment with Nadia.

✣ ——— Nadia’s excitement over the big label outside the coffee shop signaling the return of the holiday season and of Autumn. The way her eyes glimmered alongside the brightness of smile brought his own to show up. Pulling her arm slightly in the direction of the coffee shop’s doors, intent on treating her to the biggest size of pumpkin spice latte the shop had to offer.
“You can’t just say it twice without going to go get one. Do you want some scones to go with it too?”

Public displays of affection didn't phase him whatsoever, but there was something about it being in such an enclosed spot right next to other people at the busy grocery store. It didn’t embarrass him, it was bashfulness that set in. Like a small child he hung his head low, trying to hide an obvious blush that crept up on his pale face.

Peach loved imparting her ‘wisdom’ upon others, it was deciding which pieces she would deliver that was the hard part. ❝ Hm, ❞ she murmured thoughtfully, fingertips carefully taking round chin as she pondered her favorite pieces of insight. The princess stood there for a moment before finally opening her mouth but nothing came out.
❝ Ohhhh, I don’t know what to say first ! ❞ She complained, stomping her foot in an annoyed manner. Plush lips were pursed as the foot she had stomped began to tap impatiently, willing herself to hurry up. ❝ Kiss, ❞ She finally said. ❝ Kiss a lot, kiss often. Kiss your family, kiss your friends, kiss your lovers. ❞ A smile began to spread as she spoke now, long lashes fluttering. ❝ Hug them too. Love them. Love the people you love with your whole heart and never let them think for a minute that you don’t care ! ❞
She felt that was the best piece of information anyone could offer because it was those that were closest to you that were the most important. That was what made Peach such a wonderful princess; she had so much love overflowing within her heart to share. She felt love for everybody; even strangers.... even her enemies.
