Despite what Forbes and Celebitchy claim, Kylie Jenner is unlikely close to billionaire status. Her brand was not cooked up in her mother's kitchen. Kylie's brand is associated with Seed Beauty. So while she gets a cut of the profits, so are a ton of other people. Women’s Wear Daily previously stated that Seed Beauty does not have equity in Kylie’s brand, but they are likely getting a significant amount of money from their deal with Kylie. The cosmetics industry can be fickle. One day a brand is hot and the next they have disappeared. Just look at Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, one day they were all anyone could talk about but earlier this year they appear to have folded. Kylie is also getting some really bad reviews. Her Peach palette apparently smelled disgusting, her holiday palettes were garbage, and the Momager collection was mostly junk (go see Jaclyn Hill’s review).  All Kylie’s products also basically stolen from other brands. Her drippy lip concept was ripped off from Vlada. A lot of the shade names she uses are also a stolen concept. NARS and Urban Decay among other brands had been giving their products risque names for over a decade. NARS Orgasm blush And Urban Decay Gash lipstick are iconic. 

Remember Forbes often gets it wrong,  Elizabeth Holmes was never a real billionaire but created a con along with a fake voice to dupe people into believing she had serious money.
