The semester before Shiro was hired to help recruit cadets as his student job, he needed to go ahead and get started on his assistantship, so Adam’s major professor benevolently allowed Shiro to TA her classes with Adam for a semester. Shiro was immediately thrilled. Adam was immediately pained. Shiro has the out of field confrontation skills of strawberry shortcake. The actual angel food and whipped cream dessert, not the spunky redhead cartoon gremlin.

By the end of week one of the semester all of the students would only email Shiro, who was not allowed to answer without forwarding the email to Adam, as per Adam’s exasperated instructions.
