Okay. Diving into a personal hell called “Voltron fandom” here but please tell me there is someone out there who is thinking about the parallels between Allura and Honerva.

When you’re two Altean women and you’ve had your entire life stolen from you in one fell swoop by the same person, and one of you was cryogenically frozen as your father and entire planet died and all you have left of him is his memories, which you couldn’t even keep for yourself. And the other of you quietly watched your son grow up knowing you will never be the mother to him you wanted because your memories were stolen, and all you can remember is the horrific instance of giving birth without memory of choosing this, and you can do nothing as he then dies trying to follow his father’s work. and neither of your lives were for yourselves, because you only exist as part of something bigger, forced to fight on and inch towards your own demises no matter how hard you lash out, how loud you scream, because you are just a convenient tool, the navigator, the princess, the witch, and nothing more. Your stolen life isn’t your own, and you don’t know what your own future holds, but it will end as everything else goes on.

I feel like nobody talks about how terrified Honerva (now sorta Haggar) must've been when she woke up without her memories and visibly pregnant.

We don't even know how long she was pregnant with Lotor for after being brought back or if it would've taken time for her to understand that she was pregnant and not just horrifically deformed.

It's honestly no surprise she rejected Lotor as a baby, he probably didn't even feel like a baby just something that was invading her body.

I do confess I'm still a hater of haggar getting her honerva memories back and immediately going "wait i super care about Lotor actually #myson" as if she hasn't spent 10k years being sick of him and also 10k years repressing the traumatic memory of his birth. I don't caare how much she wanted a kid as honerva. It's been 10k years. Her hater heart has grown very strong
