A. I am not erasing anything from Shiro by wondering what could have been.
B. He could be bi. We were told by the show runners, we could head canon him as we please as long as we regonize he is mlm.
C. I have already wrote about why I as a bi person, would not want canon Shallura after Shiro's reveal, but I still think Shallura could have been a better romance than All/urance, assuming they gave the rep to another character instead of Shiro.
D. While I am happy that we got rep through Shiro, A/dashi didnt feel explicit enough and the Curtis epilogue felt like an after thought to me. It was hard for me to become invested in those relationships. I would have liked to see Klance as the rep instead because they have the history and chemistry I think could have made an interesting story.
E. I am glad we got some rep though. VLD tripped up that rep, but at least they tried for a step in the right direction.
F. Me commenting that Shallura and Klance could have made for interesting love stories was in no way intended to erase Shiro's canon sexuality.
G. He's not real. His feelings can't be hurt.
H. Because he is not real, he can be imagined a millon different ways. I could write him as a cat wearing a fedora and it doesn't change canon, or how you or I interpret canon.
H. Shiro is canonically m/m in an animated series and that is awesome. I grew up at a time when that would not have been possible and I am excited for the future.

Please leave Shallura shippers be though. Their thoughts and work change nothing about canon. They arent doing any harm.
We know and are proud he is m/m but like to think about the might have beens just the same.
