I'm currently reading The Magnus Chase series, the last book, after not reading it for 8 years, lmao. I could have sworn Blitz was described as "plump" but I looked up fanart of him and realized that I guess I just made that up in my mind.

a lot of fan artists (historically, myself included) draw fat characters as skinny simply because they don't want to learn how to draw fat people, whether that comes from fatphobia, laziness, or both. But really it's a critical skill for any artist who wants to be taken seriously. I used to draw Blitz very thin, but that's really unacceptable, so here's a little Blitz sketch as recompense.
